“400% growth in 12 months”
Camping Loo are a small business specialising in the sale of camping toilets. Operating in a niche area, they had a number of great products but were struggling to compete with larger competitors.
They’d already built a simple website and were looking for a cost effective solution that would help to increase their online profile. Fortunately, our team of search experts were soon on the case.
Our approach
We knew that the guys at Camping Loo didn’t have an enormous amount of money to spend on re-designing their site, but we also knew that the website had not been optimised for the major search engines.
Our first task was to take a look at their market. We carried out some detailed competitor and keyword analysis. As a result of this analysis, we were able to identify a number of areas where there were opportunities to improve search engine rankings and to gain more customers.
In particular, we spotted some high traffic keywords on Google. We advised the guys at Camping Loo of some simple on-site changes that could have a big effect.
We then started on phase two of the project: increasing the profile of their business.
Our extensive link building campaign had multiple elements, including:

- Social Media
As we increased the number of high quality links to the site, the Camping Loo business started to grow. Within a year they had seen growth of more than 400%.
…but we’re not finished yet! We’re still working on building up yet more links, improving the ranking of the site and increasing sales for Camping Loo.
